News from Dell Technologies World

Nine Virtual Technologies sent some of its engineers to Dell Technologies World last week, held annually in Las Vegas. The gathering allows us to mingle with like-minded virtualization partners and customers to help improve our business and offerings. Over the course of the three day event there were several product announcements that we are evaluating to include in our infrastructure to improve performance for our customers:

1. VxRail: This is a hyper-converged solution jointly created with VMware. It is powered by Dell’s 14th generation PowerEdge servers and features the latest processors from Intel. On the software side, it features a stack of VMware software including vCenter, VSAN, and a smart manager to make management easy.

2. VxRack SDDC: A product that builds on the momentum of VxRail, but adds networking, power, cabling, and cabinets. It also has automation and more VMware software.
