Using Quicktime? Remove it from your PC now!

Last week, Apple announced it was no longer releasing security patches for Quicktime on Windows computers.  Homeland Security recommends removing the software as soon as possible and Apple is echoing those sentiments.  Apple has posted how to remove the software on their web site at this location:  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205771

Apple notes that the last major release for Quicktime was in 2011 and it is no longer needed, since HTML5 and YouTube have come to dominate the video landscape.

While Apple has not officially confirmed the product has reached End of Life, the fact that it is no longer being patched means it is a ticking time bomb on your computer.  Remove it immediately.
