New research is pointing to Cloud Computing being generally less expensive than maintaining in-house IT. Brandon Butler of Networking World recently asked the question: Is it less expensive to run workloads in a public cloud than in an on-premises IT environment?
While the are a lot of factors that go in to answering such a question, Charlie Burns, a researcher at Saugatuck Technology, says “It comes down to ‘How good are you at running your in-house environment?'”.
